Shotgun Dan`s Pizza in Sherwood

Great pizza. I really dont know what else to say. The loaded barrel ( supreme) is just a monster of a pizza. The crust of the pizza is perfect. I will say on some occasions i have had a bad pie. It happens but it is over a 30 or more year period. and i still like it is not a bad track record.

Was absolutely busy, food good, considering it was the waitress first shift I thought she did fair.

Shotgun Dan's pizza is one of a kind. The crust tastes like it was just made, the sauce is rich and flavorful, and the toppings are so generously loaded that you can't help but be in awe. Add on attractive wait staff and exceptional service and you're left with a supremely enjoyable dining experience.

There are other places for pizza, but why? This place makes the best pizza in the area, hands down. The Loaded Barrel is our favorite.

Great pizza, great service, great prices

I was afraid this was going to happen. The reviews by local patrons is an emotional one. People from Arkansas have an emotional connection to the memories formed here and the biased reviews show it. I don't blame anyone, I do the same with my childhood favorites. The famous wings were horrible to say the least. The mango habanero didn't taste like either ingredients and the wings were extremely fatty and limp. At first I thought they were undercooked but it seems to just be the low quality of meat they use. The pizza was standard fare. It was thin crust crunchy as advertised but dare I say too many toppings. Yep I'm going to get hate for that. But with every bite toppings just fell to my plate. Good luck to anyone to ventures expecting more.

I've eaten pizza from all over the world. Now, I love deep dish Chicago style pizza, but I haven't found anything that beats a Big Dan Pizza! Its a meal in 1 slice! Packed with meat, this thin crust pizza may be my favorite, in the world so far. I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Love it!!!

Great pizza and service. They like on the toppings and best of all not greasy. Me and the wife went there cost about 40 bucks. We will be going back

Fully loaded - great tasting Pizza. Big Dan - all meat pizza with a Thin crust is really loaded with topping and has a really good flavor. We always add bacon which give the pizza a smoky flavor.

My cashiers name was Hallie, she was the rudest person I have ever met, I have been going to shot gun dans for years and will not be returning until something is done about her attitude.

Good pizza made with fresh ingredients. The dining room was pretty cold , all of the customers were wearing coats or jackets. When I asked the hostess about the temperature she commented that sh dresses in layers when she comes to work. They have a jukebox nobody used while we were there so it was pretty quiet.

I can't believe this is the rating I'm now giving to Shotgun Dan's pizza. Was recently in Sherwood for a visit with family. We decided to order and it's just not the same at all! This breaks my heart because it used to be the best pizza joint in Central Arkansas! ☹️

My boyfriend and I pulled up to curb side, and the girl who brought out our pizza was very rude, and she tried to flirt with my boyfriend right in front of me!!! The name on the recipe was Hallie. Very disappointing shot gun dans.

Very inviting atmosphere and wonderful staff. Beer was served in chilled mugs and pitchers weren't too pricey. The pizza was phenomenal and promptly served. Our server was very attentive. Overall, I must say exceptional! Highly Recommend!

Jordan was my server and she acted like my table didn't matter. I was treating my daughters to a night out and my daughter was mad at her because she ignored her 3 times. Then once she was approached still never got the fork that she asked for until appetizer came out which someone else brought out will all the presets(plates, napkins, forks). My daughter just wanted a fork so she could eat her salad.I tipped way more than she deserved. This place needs some new servers and it would be a lot better. This is not the first time my family has been treated like this here. Young families are not welcome here.

It was great had a great waitress.

I just picked up a large chef salad and and it was pitiful .All rough ends hardly any vegetables, no cheese it tasted old.The manager was told and he stated that I could bring my salad back and they could remake it, but I was not going to drive over 14 miles one way just to have my salad remade. I will definitely not be back. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I would leave no star if I could.

The food is great. One pizza does it all for my family. But some of the workers can be rude sometimes. Fix the workers and I will recommend them to everyone.

Fabulous service!! Even when things are not quite right, they still give their time to rock it out on service and food.

So this is my End All Be All Pizza!! When I see the Welcome to Arkansas Sign I know I’m that much closer to Shotgun Dan’s!! It is a MUST HAVE, when I get home and I ALWAYS TAKE ONE BACK TO DALLAS!!So if anyone is readying this... Please Open up Just 1 Location in Dallas, Irving, Arlington or somewhere that Us Arkansas Natives that live in Dallas can have some Natural State Pizza!! Show Texas what real pizza is!!! I salute you!! So does my tummy!!! 😁❤️

The pizza was awesome. Thin crust, plenty of toppings and just the right amount of sauce.

Have always enjoyed salad and pizza here service has always been great .. meat lovers - big dan -12/5 had the Belle Star sandwich and salad this place was busy last night 2/13 we're getting the loaded barrel this time ..

HOT out the oven! DELICIOUS!

I called 10mins before closing and they were very nice about taking my order. Then I arrived and they were technically closed yet still very courteous. Went back to get napkins and a drink and they still weren't ride to me. I thought they handled things very well. Oh, and then pizza was fantastic!

Pizza is amazing. The process of bringing the food out instead of dining in was as efficient as it could be.

Love the pizza. Wish the dining room would open up.

Shotgun Dans hosted our staff Christmas party. The pizza and wings were great! The manager Kendall is the best! He was very attentive and helpful. Our server Cassie kept up with our huge party and everyone was satisfied in the end.

Jordan was the best server I’ve had at any restaurant I have ever been to. Give her a raise!

Pizza was okay but very over priced. For a small cheese, a medium supreme pizza, and the tip it was around $50. Our waitress left (clocked out for the night) half way through our meal. Not a fan.

Horrible service. My recipe says "Empl:Hallie P." This girl is very rude, and apparently doesn't know how to keep mean nasty looks to herself.

Great pizza, and great service. It was very filling honestly, not super greasy or too soft of crust to aside from loading up with things it doesn't sag and get messy. They have signature options and even a build your own option. The portions are big and you'll have plenty of left overs. Very worth it.

The pizza was very tasty, cooked well, and the staff was friendly. Definitely more of a loud, jovial environment that would be great for families or a group of friends.

My child goes to school with one of the females that just recently started working here and i can say that without a doubt shot gun dans has changed since she has started working here, workers have been very rude especially her, its harder for them to act professional, and nobody smiles anymore, everybody just wants to stand around and talk to her like shes the "popular girl" who works there now. Very disappointing shot gun dans, you have had wayyy better hires then her.

Cheryl is probably the best waitress we have had there. It's a pleasure being served by her. Always a pleasant experience.

Shotgun Dan's was packed on a Thursday night, no parking space and I know exactly why. The pizza is amazing. This place really deserves deserves 5 stars.

I have a friend who has shown me post from one of the new comers at shot gun dans about how you guys have dropped some of the toppings but due to budget cuts y’all still have to use them. I will be telling friends and family not to come here.
